This large-scale motorized build brings a classic Ferris wheel to life as a working GBC (Great Ball Contraption) module, combining a full-size amusement ride silhouette with an intricate ball-machine mechanism underneath.

Switch it on and the XL motor drives two things at once: the wheel turns smoothly on its purple support frame while a geared lift arm scoops balls up from the base and loads them into the wheel's swinging trays. Each ball rides around the full rotation before dropping back down into the conveyor system to start the cycle again.

The engineering details are on full display — over 32 gondola arms with individually swinging trays, a turquoise-and-orange rimmed wheel, and an exposed gear train running through the black base structure. Built to the GBC standard, it's designed to connect with other ball-machine modules for an even bigger chain reaction display.

With 4,402 pieces, this is a serious build for experienced builders. It stands about 79.1 cm tall and spans 81 x 24 cm at the base — a striking centerpiece that keeps moving once it's built.
